On Friday 4th March the battle of the sexes was in full swing, as the University of Nottingham’s Netball Club took on the University’s Men’s Basketball Club in a BOYS vs GIRLS charity netball match!

Between 4-6pm the teams fought for supremacy at the University of Nottingham’s Sports Centre on Jubilee Campus and after an arduous battle the final score was 38 – 21 to the GIRLS!

Money was raised via the selling of pink ribbons, loose change in collection boxes and a very popular cake and refreshment stall. A total of £189.77 was raised with the money being split equally between the Pink Ribbon Foundation and the Evelina London Children’s Healthcare charity – both chosen by the two teams playing.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who took part and supported the event and we look forward to the rematch!
